Perform on Demand.
A strength and conditioning program for the individuals who need to be ready at a moment’s notice.
Always be ready with strategic programming that addresses all of the physical requirements without burning you out.
Harder training is not alway better training.
More ≠ Better
Better = Better
Build Over Break
Most programs are not built around the reality of your work.
Many emphasize intensity for the sake of intensity and assume harder is better. It is not. Better is better.
Some develop one or two physical qualities while neglecting the rest. Other work fine until overtime, poor sleep, old injuries, call-outs, or a missed session throw the week off.
The result is often the same: push harder until something breaks, then rest and hope you can pick up where you left off, which rarely is how it works out.
The issue is not a lack of effort.
It’s a lack of strategy
Effective programming has to account for what you need to improve, how much stress you can recover from, and what needs to change when the plan meets real life.
Built on best evidence and clinical experience. Applied to tactical performance.
Practical Performance Coaching is led by Brandon Bellman, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainer with a decade of coaching experience, most of it spent working with tactical athletes, including law enforcement.
That background matters because performance programming for law enforcement has to account for more than strength and conditioning alone. Injury history, recovery, job demands, schedule variability, and competing physical demands all influence what should be trained, how much, and when.
The approach is grounded in current strength and conditioning principles, accepted clinical guidelines, and practical experience working with officers from patrol to SWAT/SRT.
Clients have returned to lifting, running, sprinting, and confidently performing job-related tasks after significant injury histories while improving strength, power, speed, endurance, and overall readiness.
These same principles are reinforced through Brandon’s experience as a competitive shooter and firearms instructor. He is also a vetted and approved wellness provider through the National Fraternal Order of Police.
A Plan That Adjusts When Life Does.
PPC starts by assessing your training history, goals, injury history, schedule, recovery, and current capabilities.
From there, we build a plan around the physical qualities you need most and establish clear rules for how to modify training when sleep, work, pain, or time constraints change.
Assess → Implement → Progress → Adapt → Repeat
You train. We monitor the response, review your feedback and performance, and adjust the plan when needed.
The goal is not perfect adherence or perfect weeks.
The goal is to keep making productive decisions over time.
The program is not the product.
The decisions are.
You still need to train strength, speed, power, agility, aerobic capacity, and anaerobic capacity.
The difference is knowing how much of each to do, when to push, what to maintain, what to reduce, and how to adjust when recovery, pain, or schedule changes.
That is where most programs break down.
Our coaching is built around managing training stress strategically so the work you do improves readiness instead of just creating more fatigue.
When the situation changes, the plan changes with it.
Be Ready to Act
The goal is not to just feel prepared in the gym.
It is to know you can sprint, fight, lift, move, and handle physical demands without wondering whether your body can keep up.
You should be able to train hard when it makes sense, back off when recovery requires it, and still make progress over time.
When the job demands action, your attention should be on the task—not on whether your body is ready for it.
You do not need perfect circumstances to make progress.
You do not need perfect weeks.
Most clients train 4–7 hours per week. When work, family, or overtime cuts into training, we prioritize what matters most and adjust the plan.
Progress comes from consistently hitting the right work over time, not from perfect adherence.
Old injuries do not automatically mean lower standards.
Injury history changes the strategy, not necessarily what you can become capable of.
We use progressive loading, autoregulation, and pain-guided modification to keep you training while managing risk.
You are not paying for a workout template.
You are paying for individualized programming and ongoing decisions from a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainer who understands tactical performance.
The value is in getting the right plan, adapting it when circumstances change, and avoiding months spent doing the wrong thing.
Another tactical program may be enough.
If you are progressing, staying healthy, and know how to adjust your program, keep using it.
PPC becomes valuable when progress stalls, pain complicates training, or you need more individual guidance than a template can provide.
You do not need to prove anything before you start.
Assessment is not pass or fail.
We establish where you are, identify what needs work, and start from there.
Finding a weakness in training is useful.
Finding it when someone is depending on you is not.

Start with a Consult
We’ll review your goals, training history, current limitations, schedule, and what you need your body to be capable of.
From there, we’ll determine whether PPC is the right fit and what the best next step should be.
If it makes sense to work together, we’ll map out the path forward.
If it doesn’t, you’ll still leave with a clearer understanding of what needs to happen next.
